We've experienced it firsthand during our journey as immigrants to different states and regional areas of Australia.

Our travels took us to Wollongong, NSW, Perth, WA, and Darwin, NT, where we were shocked by the exorbitant prices of South Asian groceries. The cost of these items in regional areas and cities like Perth and Darwin was much higher than what we were used to paying in Sydney.

Frustrated with this challenge, we began to research and discovered that the situation was not unique to us. Indian, Nepalese, and other South Asian groceries were consistently priced higher in many areas across Australia. We knew we had to do something to help our community.

And so, we came up with the idea for Mahal Mart. Our vision was simple: to provide South Asian groceries at same price, no matter where you lived. We believed that by cutting out the operational costs of running physical stores, we could pass those savings on to our customers.

That's why we have warehouses located in every area we deliver to, offering complete transparency and peace of mind to our customers, knowing that their groceries are being sourced and delivered from a trusted local supplier.
